David Albert Michaelmas Constable
It is with great sadness that the family of David Constable announce his passing on September 26th at the age of 83.
David passed away peacefully in Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr near his home in South Wales and will be lovingly remembered by his children, Abigail and George, and his wife Julie. David was a candlemaker of great renown, having made candles for film and television (including Harry Potter and Game of Thrones) and most proudly being candlemaker by Royal Appointment to HRH, the Prince of Wales, now King Charles III.
The funeral service will be held at Sirhowy Valley Crematorium, Blackwood, South Wales, at 3:30pm on Monday 16th October. All are welcome to attend. Flowers (to Stanley J Nicholas, Funeral Directors) or charitable donations (to Alzheimer's Research UK) are gratefully accepted.

Thoughts
David was a dear friend of my husband Michael. I have a lovely picture of him at our wedding in June 1962. They last spoke to each other about fifteen years ago, after Michael had sent a half crown to David in memory of their childhood birthdays exchanges.
Michael died 2nd January 2016. God bless you David rest in peace.
